Rihga (the real one) was born and raised in a Suburban Kansas Town where she spent her days doing Suburban Kansas Things, such as going to school, playing basketball, and wondering what hills look like. She discovered anime, graphic novels, RPGs and the Real Johnny in the seventh grade and hasn't been the same since. Rihga generally fancies herself a master artist and a brilliant storyteller. On her more lucid days, she remembers that she's a college student struggling to graduate with a pair of degrees in Japanese and English, both subjects branding her as the sort of nerd that other nerds shove into lockers. She will probably go on to one day teach high school students about gerunds, that is unless No Commas becomes so wildly popular that she can make a living off scribbled chibis and poop jokes. Stranger things have happened. Mail: rihga@no-commas.com |

Johnny (the real one) first had the idea of making a website when he was fourteen years old. Sadly, copyright laws prevented his plans for a Buffy/Lord of the Rings-themed pornographic site. ![]() Copyright laws prevent me from displaying Giles teaching Elrond a "hard" lesson...but now I'm sure you can’t stop imagining it. After spending seven years recovering from that crushing realization, Johnny instead decided to enter the exciting world of web comics. Teaming up with his old friend Rihga, Johnny now finds his immense talent and creativity latched to the cold hard will of his cruel partner and their website. Much like a watermill harnesses the power of a bubbling brook in order to serve a farmer, so is the once-playful (and occasionally bubbling) Johnny bound to serve you. Force fed a diet of liquor, strange Japanese erotica, and beaten with a wide variety of grammar manuals, Johnny longs for his hardly-remembered childhood. His greatest wishes are his freedom, that Winona Ryder would respond to just one of his letters, and that someday he will create something worthy of his mother's refrigerator.
